WJU's Commencement 2015

The Wheeling Jesuit History Department would like to congratulate the following seniors who graduated today with history majors: Jared Baranowski, Steve Bridgeman, Tori Fluharty, Kara Gordon, Nick Malarbi, Marque Marry and Hunter Onderko. They were a good group of students and people who represent what we would like our students to be when they graduate from our university.






The department would especially like to recognize Kara Gordon, who not only received the departmental Kennedy Prize for writing this year's best senior thesis on the French resistance during the Second World War, but was also awarded a Paul Medal for the highest GPA in the Arts at the university level. Marque Marry earned the Wack Award for her tireless departmental service this year. Both Kara and Marque are well-deserving of their accolades and the department would like to wish them, and their fellow history majors, best of luck in the future.
