Vienna Day Two: The Soviet Monument

On our way to our next destination we stopped at the Red Army monument.

It was a memorial built by the Soviet Union during its occupation of a quarter of Vienna after World War II in memory of the soldiers who died in the fighting for the region. The students dodged the spray from the near by fountain.
